We are pleased to share an update from MC-Zambia’s Child Literacy Project.

At the end of May, MC-Zambia won the Koloso Community Impact School of the Year 2026! Through MCZ’s Child Literacy Project, they have been including math and reading for out-of-school children in Chanyanya – those who need it the most.

In the last three years, 339 children transitioned into formal education with 1,247 books donated across 10 schools. MCZ also provided daily meals to the children, supporting their education and health.

We are incredibly proud of Moshe Mununka, MCZ’s Literacy Officer, for being recognized with an award.

PTR and PTR Foundation have been incredibly supportive of Serving Up Hope, a nonprofit organization that provides tennis programs for underserved children around the world. Serving Up Hope has over 30 programs throughout Uganda and the United States and has supported over 1000 children since inception. With PTR Foundation’s grant, we were able to send two PTR Coach Developers to Kampala, Uganda, to complete Level 1 and Level 2 coaching certification workshops for over 40 coach participants, in a country that only had 3 certified coaches! We are honored to be a part of the PTR family and its legacy of impact.

Thank you for giving PTR Italy important support to help us develop the Next Gen Coach educational program. The training course provides the principle fundamentals of tennis teaching (Standard Method) and the human and professional values that Dennis Van der Meer passed on to us.

The PTR has given me so much over the past 25 years. Not only have I grown as a teaching professional and tennis director, but I’ve created valued personal relationships. As a longtime PTR member, it’s an honor to give back to support the mission of the PTR foundation.
